2014 Murray Award presented at Meadows & Ohly Christmas Party

John Whiting has been named the winner of the 2014 Murray Award.  John manages two medical office buildings on the central campus of DeKalb Medical Center as well as multiple satellite locations. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the buildings with an emphasis on fiscal management and strives to ensure tenant and client satisfaction. Last year’s recipient of the Murray Award, John Patrick, was present to announce the 2014 winner at Meadows & Ohly’s Christmas party. Both of these men continue the tradition of excellence that Jerry Murray established over the course of his more than 20 year career with M&O.Background on the award:  Upon Jerry Murray’s retirement in 2011, M&O established the Murray Award in his honor.  The award recognizes his legacy of “doing what is best, not what is easiest” and is presented annually to a building manager who exhibits characteristics which reflect M&O’s core values of impeccable integrity, enthusiastic hard work and long-term relationships.
