Meadows & Ohly Partners with Baptist Health to Deliver “Healthy Living” Medical Facility

Meadows & Ohly partnered with Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL to deliver the Baptist HealthPlace at Nocatee. The comprehensive, 83,000 SF health and wellness facility is dedicated to not only top-quality medical care, but all aspects of healthy living with features such as YMCA, Life Coach, Airnasium (large covered outdoor greenspace) and a health-focused cafe. A Healthy Living Center is staffed by a Baptist health coach and provides free health screenings, one-on-one wellness consultations, and “Talk with a Doc” events on a variety of health topics.

The project is anchored by an integrated group of partners including Baptist Health, Brooks Rehab and YMCA. In addition, the building houses multiple specialties including primary care, behavioral health, cardiology, OB/GYN care, and pediatric rehab services by Wolfson Children’s Rehabilitation. Brooks Rehabilitation and Wolfson Children’s Rehabilitation provide skilled physical therapy services for patients of all ages.

The Baptist HealthPlace at Nocatee is designed to provide a full spectrum of services, with same- and next-day appointment availability, easy access to and communication with providers, online appointment scheduling and extended hours on weekdays and weekends. The Nocatee team is able to provide centralized, wholistic care by allowing patients to conveniently follow a continuum of care while remaining within the building as they journey towards healing.
