Meadows & Ohly Expands Services With Horizon Eye Care
Meadows & Ohly is pleased to announce the expansion of our relationship with Horizon Eye Care in the University area of Charlotte, North Carolina. In June, the firm took over property management and property accounting for the Horizon Eye - University/Mallard Creek building, the newest in their portfolio. This full-service, multi-specialty location includes over 8,400 square feet of medical space and offers a dozen different services including surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Horizon Eye built this building for expansion purposes since they had outgrown their prior location.
Since 2013 Meadows & Ohly has continued to expand its relationship with Horizon Eye Care, which started as property management for their Cotswold and Mooresville locations. Over the past seven years M&O’s portfolio with Horizon Eye has nearly doubled in size with the most recent addition being the University/Mallard Creek building. The continued trust we have built with Horizon Eye has allowed created opportunities to expand the services M&O currently offers into lease advisory and construction management.
Horizon Eye Care has been a fixture in the greater Charlotte area for nearly a quarter of a century with their wide variety of services ranging from routine eye exams to comprehensive ophthalmology services. Horizon has always been at the forefront of cutting-edge technology when it comes to eye care which can be seen when looking at their history. It becomes even more evident when you realize they were the first to perform implanting DURYSTA (a sustained-release drug delivery system to treat glaucoma) in the entire state of North Carolina on June 23, 2020.
